Steve has over 50 years experience in commercial aviation, including more than 12 years in the airworthiness department of Virgin Atlantic a major UK international airline. when he is not involving in aviation his major interest is economics in business. Steve has an in depth knowledge of the EASA regulatory structure, is a competent trainer with a huge portfolio of subjects including both aviation operations and maintenance disciplines, he is a trained ISO 9000 lead auditor, as well as IOSA trained. With decades of practical experience Steve has the ability to support the development of working solutions to many of organisational challenges which we face within the operational and maintenance environment.

Ilija has being working for Sofema Aviation Services for 14 years. Initially working as a technical administrator, Ilija has an excellent understanding of MRO software systems and the requirements associated with EASA regulatory training. Ilija focuses on service delivery to ensure that Sofema Aviation Services continues to meet the requirement of our existing and future clients. He has attended many EASA compliant regulatory training sessions, and was a part time quality auditor in a small Bulgarian air operator. Ilija has a background in Financial services planning, with specialist knowledge in pan European tax administrations.

Petya has a background in the fields of philosophy, finance, aviation and business administration. She has been working in Sofema Online since the beginning of 2018, starting as a multimedia specialist and later she was promoted to Head of the Online department. Currently, as a General Manager Online Services Petya is responsible for the effective and efficient functioning of the Online and Technical department, carrying out daily operations, and managing personnel. She's experienced customer services professional with strong communication and organizational skills, an ability to think strategically and make informed decisions, and an aptitude for problem-solving.

Tanelia is one of the most active members of the Sofema team. Her journey with the company began in 2016 when she took on the position of administrative assistant. After a two-year break, pursuing her eagerness to work with people, she followed the clarion call of Sofema and re-joined the team and took on the challenges of Sofema Online. She buckled down and channelled her energy into her work and her team. Her focus, moxie and aspiration to shine as a member of the team were recognized and now she's the dedicated manager of Sofema Online.

Katya is in charge of ensuring that all SAS' courses adhere to all relevant applicable regulations. The EASA regulatory environment is quite dynamic, making it challenging to stay current. She values sincere relationships both at work and in her personal life. Her interest in quality management makes her perfect for this position. Katya's experience in the aviation industry and the desire to increase her expertise encouraged her to join our business.

Desi joined Sofema in 2017 and currently works in the Sofema Online department. She had a 2 year gap so she could finish her Masters Degree in the Netherlands. Her aspiration to work in an international environment with diversity of work projects contributed to her creativity and increased her motivation to keep adding value to the Sofema team. Desi is a very curious person, she is passionate about academic and field research as well as travelling and experiencing the new.
