FightGround Operations 10Brochure ButtonThis course explains the philosophy, purpose and role of the MEL and considers the requirements related to maintaining validity of the MEL

The objective of the MMEL is to ensure an acceptable level of safety, while operating an aircraft with inoperative equipment and to ensure we maximize the opportunity for Aircraft profitability by avoiding Aircraft On Ground (AOG) situations. However to note that the aim of the MEL is not to encourage aircraft operation with inoperative equipment.

The objective of the training is to consider the regulatory background applicable to the MMEL/ MEL and to familiarize current AOC holders and other Operational and Concerned Personnel with a detailed understanding of EASA MMEL / MEL Regulatory Requirements.
