This course is designed to familiarize current AOC holders and other operational and concerned personnel including Maintenance Management & Operations Staff with a detailed understanding of Low Visibility Operations (LVO) In addition to consider the Key elements required to organize achieve regulatory approval for All Weather Operations (AWOPS)

Finally to raise awareness regarding the maintenance procedures and the requirements for an Operator and Maintenance Organisation to remain compliant.

Autoland systems are normally designated Fail Operational where the failure of one autopilot will still allow an autoland to be carried out. This allows a “no decision height” approach to be conducted.
