UK CAA FTS Recurrent Training Bridging Module - Phase 2

UAE GCAA CAR 145 Initial.v2

This UK CAA Recurrent Bridging Module provides a refresher on the Fuel Tank Safety (FTS) requirements applicable under the UK Regulation (EU) 1321/2014, Appendix XII to AMC M.A.706(f) and AMC1 M.B.102(c) and Appendix IV to AMC5 145.A.30(e) and AMC2 145.B.200(a)(3). It reinforces how these requirements are applied within the UK regulatory framework and updates participants on key UK CAA expectations affecting continued FTS competence.

The module highlights the ongoing responsibilities of maintenance organisations and personnel in maintaining Critical Design Configuration Control Limitations (CDCCLs), using approved maintenance data, and ensuring accurate reporting of fuel-system occurrences in accordance with CAP 382. Its purpose is to ensure that individuals previously trained in EASA FTS remain fully aligned with UK CAA oversight, documentation, and safety-reporting requirements.
