UK CAA FTS Initial Training Bridging Module

Fuel Tank Safety training is required for technical personnel in maintenance and CAMO organisations who perform, inspect, supervise, or manage tasks affecting fuel-system safety or CDCCL compliance—including maintenance execution, inspection, work planning, Service Bulletin assessment, and maintenance programme management. Prerequisite:
• Understanding of UK CAA applicability of FTS requirements • Awareness of UK-specific oversight and CDCCL expectations • Improved compliance with approved maintenance data and documentation standards • Clarification of occurrence reporting obligations for fuel-system events
• Introduction & Purpose • EASA to UK CAA Applicability • Phase 1 and Phase 2 Applicability Under UK Oversight • Critical Design Configuration Control Limitations (CDCCLs) • UK-Specific FTS Inspection and Maintenance Expectations • Documentation Requirements Under UK CAA • UK Mandatory Occurrence Reporting (MOR) for FTS
Participants will learn to: • Identify UK CAA FTS regulatory requirements and their alignment with EASA • Maintain CDCCL integrity during maintenance • Follow UK-specific documentation and task-card expectations • Recognise when FTS events require MOR submission under CAP 382
