UK CAA FTS Initial Training Bridging Module

UAE GCAA CAR 145 Initial.v2

This UK CAA Bridging Module provides the Fuel Tank Safety (FTS) requirements applicable under the UK-retained Regulation (EU) 1321/2014, including Appendix XII to AMC M.A.706(f) and AMC1 M.B.102(c) and Appendix IV to AMC5 145.A.30(e) and AMC2 145.B.200(a)(3). It explains how these FTS requirements are applied within the UK regulatory framework and how they relate to EASA FTS Phase 1 and Phase 2 training.

The module highlights the responsibilities of maintenance organisations and personnel in protecting Critical Design Configuration Control Limitations (CDCCLs), using approved maintenance data, and reporting fuel-system occurrences in accordance with CAP 382. Its purpose is to ensure that individuals who have completed EASA FTS training understand the UK-specific regulatory expectations for compliance, documentation, and safety reporting.
