It reinforces competence expectations, Human Factors application within the UAE Safety Management System (SMS), and the reporting obligations required under UAE oversight. The module focuses on national practices, surveillance findings, UAE operational risks, and the Human-Factors contribution to organisational safety performance.
This recurrent bridging course is intended for personnel working within GCAA-approved CAR-145 organisations who already hold valid EASA Recurrent Safety Training (Including Human Factors) and who must maintain continuing competence under UAE regulation, including: • Certifying staff and support staff • Supervisors and team leaders • Quality, safety and compliance personnel • Maintenance planners and production controllers • CAMO personnel whose duties require HF competence Prerequisite
Participants will strengthen their competence in the areas required by GCAA oversight, including: • Application of Human Factors within the CAR-SMS framework • Understanding UAE-specific HF risks and environmental influences • Improved reporting behaviour • Enhanced ability to identify HF contributors in safety events • Recognition of GCAA surveillance priorities and common findings • Improved capability in hazard identification, investigation input, and corrective-action development
