This training course provides a structured overview of the UK Civil Aviation Authority’s (UK CAA) Part 145 differences for persons familiar with and having completed EASA Part 145 Initial Training.

As the UK has established its own aviation regulatory environment, understanding the changes and current expectations is essential for continued compliance and operational effectiveness.
The course covers essential differences, including logistics procedures as outlined in CAP 3037, and competence requirements for post holders. UK Treatment of European Parts Approval (EPA) is covered as well as a focus on the upcoming mandatory implementation of Safety Management Systems (SMS) for all Part 145 organisations by July 2026.

This training aims to equip participants with the knowledge and understanding needed to navigate the differences related to the UK CAA Part 145 approval to enable compliance with all applicable requirements.

Note that the training is not a standalone UK CAA Part 145 course. It is a differences course specifically designed for individuals who have already completed EASA Part 145 Initial training. Completion of the EASA Part 145 Initial course is a mandatory prerequisite.
