The Combined Airworthiness Organisation (Part CAO) introduces a streamlined approval system tailored for General Aviation (GA), offering relief from several regulatory requirements, such as the absence of a Safety Management System (SMS).
Rather than solely replacing the Subpart F Maintenance Organisation, Part CAO is designed as a comprehensive, purpose-built framework that better aligns with the unique needs of GA. Additionally, Competent Authority involvement is generally reduced, simplifying oversight processes.
A Combined Organisation can be granted multiple operational privileges, including Maintenance, Continuing Airworthiness Management, Airworthiness Review, and the issuance of Permits to Fly.
This training aims to support the professional development of key industry stakeholders by providing a thorough understanding of the structure, objectives, and regulatory requirements of EASA Part CAO, including its Implementing Rules, Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC), and associated Guidance Material.
This course is designed for professionals engaged in EU General Aviation, including those working in Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisations (CAMOs). It is also beneficial for individuals seeking a comprehensive understanding of the Combined Airworthiness Organisation (CAO) framework and the Airworthiness Review Process.
Additionally, the training will be valuable for inspectors and management personnel from Civil Aviation Authorities, providing them with essential insights into regulatory compliance and oversight.
