Brochure ButtonThe role of the CAMO is wide-reaching, with an obligation to ensure the ongoing status of the Continuing Airworthiness of the Operator's Fleet.

Having a detailed awareness of the Management of Repairs and Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) is an important element of the full role of Continuing Airworthiness.

This intensive course considers the roles and responsibilities of the PART M CAMO and the interfaces with PART 21 Subpart G Production Organisations and Part 21 Subpart J Design Organisations to include awareness of CS 25 requirements focused on the Oversight of Maintenance Activities, Management of STC, Mods, and repairs, and the issue of a Permit to Fly.

M.A.711 (c) A continuing airworthiness management organisation whose approval includes the privileges referred to in point M.A.711(b) may additionally be approved to issue a permit to fly in accordance with Part 21A.711(d) of the Annex (Part-21) to Regulation (EC) No 748/2012 for the particular aircraft for which the organisation is approved to issue the airworthiness review certificate, when the continuing airworthiness management organisation is attesting conformity with approved flight conditions.
