Accountable Manager and Post Holder (Nominated Persons) Core Regulatory Obligations
This course considers in detail the Role and Responsibilities of both Accountable Managers as well as Aviation Post Holders to understand their responsibilities to ensure compliance with EASA regulations. It is specially designed to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the obligations of an EASA Aviation Organization Accountable Manager or Nominated Person. The Competent Authority will assess that the applicant has both the appropriate background experience and competencies to support the role. The role of Accountable Manager and Nominated Person is a serious and demanding role and needs to satisfy the Regulator (in the case of the NP via the EASA Form 4 process). Typical responsibilities of the Nominated Person will be discussed within the course. They mainly include ensuring the company’s compliance with EASA regulations and ensuring that the company is following the required procedures, the ongoing development of Operations Procedures, and oversight of the general Safety and Security delivery of Standards.
